INTELLIGENCE (IQ) TESTING

Intelligence Quotient Testing
Intelligence Testing is frequently one of the components to our other testing protocals. Intelligence Testing may also be provided as a single service, and is available to children adolescents and adults, by certified practitioners.
Intelligence testing measures for intelligence by identifying cognitive strengths and weaknesses related to learning disabilities, executive function, attention disorders, intellectual disabilities and giftedness. At times, parents are interested in having an Intelligence test completed if their child appears to be struggling with current school work, is exhibiting atypical abilities with age appropriate school work and course work or has had a history of development or learning delays in the past and those behaviors appear to be resurfacing. Adults may request testing for employment criteria, maintenance of government benefits, as per the terms of a court order for the application of supplemental benefits.
Testing services occur in the office and typically only require two appointments before written results can be provided.
